RAMP .

RAMP (Ready To Achieve Mentoring) is grant-funded by the NBA Foundation, with PVJOBS operating this Los Angeles-based program. The program provides mentoring, construction or hospitality career exploration and work experiences for Black youth and young adults. The program model uses a combination of group, peer and one-on-one mentoring that targets youth who are disconnected from school and work and may have additional barriers.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicant Must Be:

  • 14 to 24 years old

  • Disconnected from school and work

Applicant Must Meet One of the Following:

  • Living with a disability

  • Involvement with the justice system

  • Experiencing homelessness

  • Current or former foster care involvement

From the Harbor/Pasadena I-110 Freeway, exit Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and turn east, travel less than 1/2 mile to Main Street, turn right. PVJOBS will be on your left at 41st Place.
