PV Jobs

The S. Mark Taper Foundation Assistance Program is operated under a grant from The S. Mark Taper Foundation. The program provides services to PVJOBS clients who are ineligible to receive services under our other government grant resources.
Sometimes clients enrolled in our core program cannot be served using our resources, or those of our collaborative partners. They may have exhausted their supportive service allocation and cannot afford to buy tools, clothing or pay for union indenture fees. Or, they might not be eligible for government grant services due to a paperwork deficiency. When a client is not eligible to be served under our traditional sources of revenue, they can still be served under the S. Mark Taper Foundation Assistance Program. In this way, the S. Mark Taper Foundation Assistance Program helps PVJOBS fill a critical gap in client services.
Eligibility
Clients must be enrolled in the PVJOBS Core Program and ineligible to receive intensive and/or supportive services from any of our collaborators or any internal PVJOBS program.
Process
Your PVJOBS Case Manager will determine eligibility for the S. Mark Taper Foundation Assistance Program. Verification of ineligibility for service under other programs will be documented. From a client’s perspective, the process will be invisible, but through this program you may receive employment placement assistance, supportive services for tools, clothing, initiation fees, etc.
